It comes as the standard powertrain with the Limited and Longhorn trucks. For the 2026 RAM 1500’s Tradesman, Express, Warlock, Big Horn/Lone Star, and Laramie trim levels, the Hemi V8 is an upgrade. The base engine standard in the lower-level trims for 2025 and 2026 is the twin-turbo 3.0-liter, inline-six. It generates 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque. The high-output version of the inline-six offers 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. The RAM 1500 has a rear five-link suspension with air or coil springs.

Appearance

The 2026 trim lineup grows with the Express, which is added between the Tradesman and Warlock trim levels. It comes with all of the features available with the Tradesman and adds gray interior trim and blacked-out headlights. You can now add the Black Express package if you choose the 2026 RAM 1500 quad cab or crew cab. It adds black upholstery, 20-inch black wheels, an upgraded hood, and special badging. For 2025 and 2026, the RAM 1500 boasts a muscular hood with a tall nose and a wide grille. Rectangular LED headlights are directly integrated with the grille. The smooth sides are dressed up with a horizontal crease.

Features

All the features offered in the 2025 RAM 1500 are also available in the 2026 model year. Some of these include a dual-zone auto climate control system, a digital instrumentation system, two smartphone charging stations, heated seats for both rows, leather upholstery, a head-up display, a 14.5-inch central display screen, a premium audio system with up to 23 speakers, a digital rear mirror, a hands-free active driving assistance, intersection collision mitigation, and other features.
