Performance
The 2024 RAM 1500 has three available gas engines and a diesel engine. The entry-level engine is a 3.6-liter, V6, 305-horsepower engine, available with eTorque mild-hybrid equipment. The 395-horsepower, 5.7-liter, V8 engine gives you the option eTorque as an option. The most powerful gas engine is a supercharged V8 that generates 702 horsepower. The turbo-diesel engine for the RAM 1500 produces 260 horsepower. In comparison, the base engine for the 2024 RAM 2500 is a 6.4-liter, V8, 410-horsepower system. A V6 turbo-diesel is also available and gives you 370 horsepower.
Appearance
The RAM 1500 and the RAM 2500 make a strong statement on the road with their sculpted hoods and tall dimensions. These trucks are both available with several cab configurations as well. The RAM 1500 is defined by smoothly contoured sides and slightly flared fenders. The grille displays the RAM logo flanked by a pair of accent bars, and it connects with rectangular headlights. The headlights have upper and lower LED bars. The RAM 2500 has smoother sides and a taller nose. Its grille is more elevated, and it links to similar headlights as you will find on the RAM 1500.
Features
