The RAM 1500 has consistently impressed its drivers for decades, and it rightfully has your full attention as you prepare for your upcoming truck purchase. In 2019, the full-size RAM 1500 made waves with the release of its fifth generation. Both the 2019 and 2020 models reflect the exciting updates that were introduced in the fifth generation, and the 2020 RAM 1500 has a few fresh updates of its own. Our associates at White's Energy Motors want you to love your next truck. We are ready to help you compare the trims across both model years and to support your selection.

Performance

In 2020, the V6 EcoDiesel, 3.0-liter engine has returned and shows dramatic improvements to its capabilities. Specifically, this powertrain produces 260 horsepower and can tow up to 12,560 pounds. The other three powertrains that are available in the 2019 model year are unchanged for the new model year. One of these is a HEMI V8, 5.7-liter engine. This powertrain produces 395 horsepower with an eTorque Mild Hybrid System. You can conveniently experience the power of these engines and the other two engines found in both trim levels when you visit White's Energy Motors soon for your upcoming test drive experiences.

Appearance

Overall, the recognizable, muscular exterior style of the RAM 1500 has not changed between the 2019 and 2020 model years, but there are a few new style packages. In 2020, you can now choose the Black Edition or the Night Edition to give your RAM 1500 a dramatic, edgy look. The 2019 and 2020 RAM 1500 trucks are both available with up to 22-inch wheels, a multi-function tailgate, LED lights at the front and rear, a powered sliding rear window, a cargo management system on the side of the bed, dual exhaust tips, tow hooks and numerous other features that could be standard items or optional equipment across the trims.

Features

There are a few subtle changes to the availability of optional equipment across the RAM 1500's trims between the 2019 and 2020 model years. All standard equipment remains unchanged. Some of the many preferred features that you could appreciate in your new RAM 1500 include a reconfigurable center console to meet various needs, a wireless charging station, USB ports, a tablet-sized touch display screen, a premium navigation system, high-quality leather material, under-seat storage, a powered panoramic sunroof, a premium sound system and many other features.
