 What's New for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator?
The Jeep Gladiator has all of the rugged capabilities of the ever-popular Wrangler and the practicality of a pickup truck. While the 2024 Gladiator is a mid-generation version, it boasts extensive improvements throughout its style, features, and performance abilities. These exciting changes start on the exterior. The Gladiator continues to be closely styled after the boxy, iconic Wrangler. However, in 2024, the grille is redesigned. The wide grille has the signature bar accents, but the ends are now rounded. The circular headlights are also directly integrated into the grille. The 2024 Gladiator also introduces updated wheel designs, a windshield-embedded antenna, and Anvil as a body paint option. If you opt for the Mojave X or Rubicon X trim, your Gladiator truck will have steel bumpers.
Under the hood, the 2024 Gladiator has an updated powertrain lineup. The V6 diesel engine that was offered in 2023 has been eliminated. The V6, 3.6-liter gas engine, is the sole powertrain available. This 285-horsepower powertrain is available with an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. Part-time four-wheel drive is standard and features low-range gearing. Higher trims may also be outfitted with a locking differential, Fox shock absorbers, a superior axle ratio, electronically disconnecting stabilizer bars, a two-speed transfer case, a lifted suspension, and other high-performance gear.
Inside, there are a few additional improvements. The infotainment system screen has grown to 12.3 inches and is standard across all trim levels. In addition, 12-way power adjustments and leather seats are added to the Mojave X and Rubicon X trims. All trims benefit from the introduction of side curtain airbags for both rows. These updates combine with the many desired features that carry up from the 2023 model year. The features include a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitor, removable roof panels, a heated steering wheel, a navigation system, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, a push-button ignition, an eight-speaker sound system, and removable doors.
